
About Zsuzsanna
Zsuzsanna is a perinatal consultant offering support during pregnancy and postpartum, including assistance for those experiencing perinatal loss.
Perinatal means “around birth”. It traditionally includes all issues and matters from conception until the first birthday of a child. With a passion for supporting women during their perinatal journey, Zsuzsanna provides compassionate care and guidance. Her expertise extends to addressing the emotional and physical challenges that arise during pregnancy and postpartum.
Zsuzsanna, originally a teacher and manager, studied birth psychology at the Faculty of Education and Psychology at the ELTE University in Budapest, Hungary. She received her MA degree in perinatal consultancy after completing the 2-year postgraduate course in 2017. She has been the Vice President of the Hungarian birth psychology association, the HSPPPM (Hungarian Society of Pre- and Perinatal Psychology and Medicine) since 2015, and a board member-at-large of the American APPPAH, Association for Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology & Health since 2019. She is a regular presenter at these associations.
Zsuzsanna works with individual clients to help them have a positive birth experience. She also works with organizations to achieve systemic, policy-level changes that promote safer and healthier births and respectful care.
